The Cloaked Figure, or so-called “Higgs Druid”, first appeared on a sheet from my 1997 set of flash, nearly 30 years ago. As I reflect on the fleetness of time & the unforeseen & continuing popularity of this design, I have undertaken, for a limited time, the task of painting a series of Druids, reconsidering the essential magnetism of the design & the eerie yet stable presence of “One-Who-Knows” projected by the simple form of its few lines. I am presently taking orders for purchase of a hand-painted, completely original Higgs Druid, humbly offered by the originator of the design, myself :: Daniel Higgs.

The series is open-ended. As each piece is original, this is not an “edition”. Signed & numbered so that they may be distinguished one from another. Hand-painted on Arches paper, 10” x 14” and will ship in September 2026. No special requests. Background colors subject to change. One per customer. USA orders only at this time.
